Elizabeth, she sits alone and ponders on her fate,
Last night she saw her sister die, they burnt her at the stake
The villagers obsessed by fear, for God they must obey,
And voices near, outside her door, they’re calling out her name…
Elizabeth!
Their fists are pounding, the door it splinters, a crucifix is raised
“Elizabeth, thy charged herewith, the charge is heresy,
Child of darkness, Witch & Priestess tell us how you plead?
Innocence?! I scoff at thee, thy lies we’ll not believe,
Take her to the dungeon cells, extract a guilty plea”
Flayed in chambers, where friends and strangers, they scream in agony,
Sadistic laymen, who speak with rancour “Confess wench to thy sins!”
In bitter languish, she cries in darkness, this punishment so cruel,
The cells unlocked and she’s dragged in stocks, to die before the moon
Elizabeth is brought before a crowd who wait to see,
To see these Witches burn tonight, to mock their suffering
She’s tied unto a pole upon a pile of wood and leaves
A Priest begins the rites of death, her last chance to redeem…
Out of the crowd comes a blood-letting growl,
As some men bearing swords they burst through,
Fighting the guards at such perilous hour,
The men of the ring they withdrew,
And so she is saved, from her death at the stake,
Yes, Elizabeth’s saved from her doom,
On horseback they ride, like birds through black skies,
The Witches return to their brood
The villages vowed,
By God they won’t allow,
A Witch to escape again,
For their sins they must pay!
The villagers vowed,
By God they’re empowered,
To seek out each Witch,
And punish them for him…

Australian Black Metal. This is a fantastic demo! Only three little songs but there is more than enough to tell the greatness. The compositions & those raspy / raw vocals are superb & I totally agree with dharmalogos. I am sold & want more! Recommended!!! bmurator

The riffs are heavy and insanely catchy, the vocalist is evil incarnate, the rithyms are killer. I don't know how this band isn't on everyone's black metal bands to watch.
I'm glad I stumbled on them and I hope to hear more from them. This is a finely produced EP. ForlornCorn
